NURSING TEAM
NURSE PRACTITIONERS
Mrs Susan Blundell
Ms Sara Gunter
Nurses are taking on an increasing clinical role and have taken over some of the
diagnostic roles doctors traditionally do. Our nurse practitioner will see patients
with minor illness complaints (sore throats, colds, cystitis, burns, stings and
so on). If a prescription is required, the nurse practitioner will discuss this
with the doctor. Similarly, she will discuss it with the doctor if there any uncertainties
as to the diagnosis.
